Mr McCarfrae ( Below) competed in Highland Dancing and Piping Competitions and won many medals ( Looks like he is wearing them in this picture left). He was living in Brodick Glencloy at the time of the 1871 census as Piper to the 12th Duke of Hamilton the census also stated he was a farmer of arable land. He died in 1876 in Brodick. He one
